Joel Guy

Co-Founder | Lead Engineer, CAD Design & Additive Manufacturing

Joel is the technical foundation of C & J Precision, bringing dedicated engineering expertise to every design challenge. Specializing in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and technical modeling, Joel excels at translating rough concepts, sketches, or broken components into precise, manufacturable digital models.

Beyond digital design, Joel leads the workshop's additive manufacturing operations. His deep understanding of advanced material science—including working with engineering-grade polymers like ASA, PETG, and Nylon—ensures that every component is produced using the optimal material for its specific mechanical, thermal, or aesthetic requirements.

Whether he is reverse-engineering discontinued hardware, drafting custom 4x4 accessories, or developing complex, load-bearing mechanical prototypes, Joel’s primary focus is on structural integrity and design optimization. His technical precision guarantees that every part is engineered to work flawlessly in the real world long before it ever begins manufacturing.

Notable Highlights:

  • Advanced Engineering & CAD Specialization: Serves as the lead technical engineer for a diverse portfolio of projects, delivering precision CAD modeling for everything from high-detail scaled mining equipment to functional automotive components.

  • Applied Material Science: Leverages extensive expertise in industrial additive manufacturing to optimize the structural integrity and mechanical performance of custom-fabricated parts for commercial applications.
